  After spending an absorbing time in the craft gallery, we found our way into the cafe adjoining and I ordered from a very interesting selection of salads. We went upstairs to a very nice eating area, well laid out and overlooking the area in front of the Millenium Centre. My salad arrived, beautifully presented and I started eating with relish. However, my attention was drawn to a very athletic caterpillar that suddenly peeped out of the lettuce! I removed the lettuce leaf with accompanying sprinkling of caterpillar poo and took it - very discreetly - downstairs to show the waitress. She backed away in disgust, offered no apology or comment, so I went back upstairs to finish what I could of my salad. No mention was made of this unpleasant ‘find’ by any member of staff and we left the cafe somewhat bemused!
